New Dinner Series: A Journey Through Italy at Testaccio

  • Testaccio 2456 North California Avenue Chicago, IL, 60647 United States (map)

For those who can't take an international voyage in person this summer, explore the prolific cuisine of Italy at Testaccio's new regional highlight series. Each month, the Logan Square gem celebrates a different Italian region by offering dishes that encapsulate the rich culinary culture of each one.

Proceeds from each regional dish will be donated to a different charitable cause every month, with proceeds from May's dishes benefiting Hope for the Day. For May, Culinary Director Michael Lanzerotte is treating guests to the cuisine of Campania, the home of the lively Amalfi Coast. Enjoy dishes al fresco on Testaccio's charming sidewalk patio with a glass (or two) from their robust list of natural and amphora-made wines, expertly selected by beverage director Joe Crivolio.

Venture into new Italian regions all summer long as the next spots coming to Testaccio's menu include Puglia, Sicily, Sardinia, and Toscana. Reservations can be made here.
