Atelier, the soon-to-open restaurant replacing Elizabeth, is thrilled to announce that their dear friend, Chef Iliana Regan, is taking time out of her book tour for a brief residency. Chef Regan founded Elizabeth Restaurant in 2012 and ran it until she stepped away in 2020 to focus full time on Milkweed Inn, the bed and breakfast she owns and operates with her wife, Anna, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Regan's Milkweed Inn pop up menu at Atelier will offer the New Gather cuisine she’s been known for during the last 15 years, always coming up with delightful new things while constantly teaching herself. This is a rare opportunity to experience Chef Regan’s inventive cooking with a multi-course tasting menu.
Atelier is grateful that Regan’s found time in her schedule to set up shop in their kitchen for a limited time. Regan is excited to step in and work with the culinary team before Executive Chef Christian Hunter’s arrival.
Chef Iliana Regan's residency will run on six dates between Saturday, February 4 to Tuesday, February 14. The tasting menu is $160 per person with optional pairings. Table reservations may be made at Atelier-Chicago.com.
