A Very Harry Winter at Replay Lincoln Park {Through the End of January}
Potterheads will LOVE the latest pop-up from Replay, which was so popular around the holidays that it has been extended through the end of the month. Aside from delicious cocktail specials you can also experience homages to book and movie favorites like The Whomping Willow, Hagrid’s House, the iconic platform 9 3/4, Honeydukes Candy Shop, and so much more ⚡ Keep an eye out for some hidden Easter eggs that only Harry Potter mega-fans will spot!
Dear Margaret First Anniversary {Monday, January 17}
This cozy and colorful Lakeview spot is celebrating one year in Chicago with burgers, poutine, Labatt’s and shots of Canadian whisky—all your Canadian favorites! Definitely try the Canuck Burger, a griddled CDK beef patty topped with housemade peameal bacon, cheddar, lettuce, onion, pickle, and garlic aïoli. It pairs perfectly with Labatt Blue and Canadian Club, which are a menu special for the celebration.
Chef Paul Liebrandt Culinary Feast at Smyth {January 18 & 19}
Chef Paul Liebrandt will join forces with Smyth Chefs John Shields and Luke Feltz for a one-of-a-kind collaboration dinner at the famed two Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in Chicago’s West Loop this month. Food-lovers may know Liebrandt from his internationally renowned restaurants Corton and The Elm or Crumpet Consulting, his global full-service consulting and advisory firm for the hospitality industry. He’s bringing all that expertise to the Windy City for this multicourse dinner, which is sure to be not to miss!

Museums are the perfect wintertime activity, and Chicago is chalk full of amazing options! The Field Museum is one of our favorites because it covers so many areas of interest, and is great for guests of all ages. Bring the family or your pals, and while away an afternoon of inspiration and education. Or, play hooky and spend the whole day there! You certainly won’t run out of rooms and exhibits to explore.
