Intimate Experiences are the Event of the Season at The Starbucks Reserve Roastery

As the weather cools and leaves begin to fall, the countdown to the holidays in Chicago is officially ON! It’s a time of year when the Windy City comes together to get extra festive and gather loved ones around them for fun...and food! This year, those gatherings will have to be smaller than usual, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make the most of smaller celebrations or unique experiences in the Chicago food world.

One spot that is taking those small gatherings to the next level is The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago, which is now offering everything from intimate two-person tours of their five-story coffee mecca to specially-planned, smaller events for companies and groups to celebrate the holiday season together.

You don’t even have to be a coffee aficionado to appreciate their offerings either! Even novices can sip and savor the season with their Arriviamo™ Cocktail Bar Trio or other events custom-planned for you and your group by their amazing event team, including Chelsea Shores.

Chelsea Shores, the Events Specialist at The Starbucks Reserve Roastery, explained just all the wide range of ways we can still make merry this holiday season with her team at The Reserve Roastery, and get a great coffee education in the process...

What are the different event spaces you offer at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery?

We offer small to large sized events, semi-private to full floor buyouts. No event is too small or too big for us and at the Roastery you get a unique space and event unlike anything else in Chicago.

How are you catering to smaller groups this year?

I love working with smaller groups as we can create an intimate and unique event of any kind, from wedding rehearsal dinners to showers to corporate team building (even virtually) and holiday parties.

Tell us all about the Chicago Roastery Revealed for 2 Tour

It’s our best selling experience hands down. Perfect for couples, two old friends, siblings...anyone! It is also a wonderful gift to give to someone for them and a plus one. It’s a curated package for two guests, which includes a private guided tour, coffee master tasting, shared dessert pairing, prosecco, and a take home bag of exclusive Starbucks Reserve coffee. This experience includes a premium reserved table for you and your guest with sweeping views of Michigan Avenue.

Are these events just for coffee experts or can novices enjoy them too?

They are curated for everyone! You could be a coffee expert or never had a cup of joe in your life – we cater the tasting experience to your level.

How do you put your personal touch when planning these experiences?

I personally created each experience and work with each client to meet their needs as well as try to go above and beyond when curating their unique event at the Roastery.

Why is now the perfect time to visit the Starbucks Reserve Roastery

Now is the perfect time to visit the Roastery because we have our 1 year anniversary coming up, the holidays with seasonal holiday drinks, along with new merchandise, and being cold outside - we are the perfect indoor activity to do with your family (safely).
