As Chicago’s shelter in place order continues to extend, we are trying to find new ways to support our local restaurant communities. You can of course continue to order delivery, donate to their GoFundMe pages, or purchase gift cards. But what if you want a little piece of the spots you miss most to be part of your daily routine?

We understand, and empathize, with missing your local coffee shops, wanting to relax on a Chicago patio with a glass or wine, or dreaming of digging into a dish with that special secret ingredient from your favorite chef. How can we get all of that at home? It’s actually pretty simple! You can buy their merchandise and keep it at home with you. You can rock team t-shirts, sip on your favorite cups of coffee or glasses of wine, and support our restaurants right from the comfort of your own home. Here’s how…

The Smoke Daddy {multiple locations}

Grilling season is coming up fast, and even if you can’t physically get out and grill, you can still add that taste and flavor to your at-home menus. The Smoke Daddy has hot sauces, BBQ sauces, rubs, and even Bloody Mary mix that you can order online. It will take your cooking up a notch, and help support one of our favorite BBQ joints in the city.

Maple & Ash {8 West Maple Street, Chicago; 312.944.8888}

Yes, we miss those infamous Maple & Ash brunches, too! But while we wait for all that fun and excitement to come around again, you can still support them by ordering your favorite bottle of bubbly or other bottles from their online wine store to continue to support this hot spot. They even have a wine club you can join!

CityWinery {1200 West Randolph Street, Chicago; 312.733.9463}

Online alcohol sales have been skyrocketing lately, and for good reason! CityWinery is getting in on that game with award-winning wines you can buy online, as well as online wine club memberships available. They’re ready with your favorite bottle!

 Yolk {multiple locations}

You can everything from maple syrup to coffee mugs to baby bibs to custom roast coffee…all from Yolk! You already love their creative pancakes and other breakfast items, so why not give your kitchen the full Yolk treatment? It will help you start your morning sunny-side up

Publican Quality Meats {825 West Fulton Market, Chicago; 312.445.8977}

There’s something for everyone at PQM! They have a rotating selection of meat, including ribeyes, New York skirt steaks, full chickens, pork chops, Slagel burger patties, and more. There’s also a selection of pantry essentials, plus plenty of wine and beer, all for the taking! Ordering from their Digital Butcher Shop makes it easy!

MOJO Coffee {multiple locations}

This recent addition to the Chicago coffee world is offering a special discount for the city that has welcomed them so warmly. With code DINING_OUT_CHI you can take 10% off your coffee or bean order, and get FREE shipping on coffee beans delivered. Their brews will elevate your next morning cup of coffee and almost make it worth missing out on those cafe runs we’ve all been missing.

Club Lucky {1824 West Wabansia Avenue, Chicago; 773.227.2300}

Pasta is an easy at-home meal, but with Club Lucky’s Marinara ala Brava sauce, it’s also an amazing at-home meal! When you next order some of their Italian classics for pick-up or delivery, add their sauce or Italian Dressing into your order, too! It helps them, and makes your life a little extra delicious.

El Che Steakhouse & Bar {845 West Washington Boulevard, Chicago; 312.265.1130}

If you’re going to be cooking from home, you might as well use the best products available! Owner/Chef John Manion has set up a Butcher Shop Pop-Up to provide the best in protein for Chicago at-home chefs. It will give you a taste of the El Che Bar experience and make cooking at home a bit more fun.
