Brunch in Chicago is always a hot commodity, but when you add in a holiday, you’ll be hard pressed to find a place to eat. If you’re overwhelmed by the options for Easter this weekend, follow along as we give you some of our favorite eateries for Easter Sunday. Even if you’ve left it to the last minute (it happens!), these are the spots with tables waiting for you…

Truth Be Told {1227 East 60th Street, Chicago; 872.315.1319}

Located off the lobby of The Study hotel at the University of Chicago, Truth Be Told is serving something special just for Easter Sunday. Prepare to be wowed by the launch of their Sunday Roast made with prime rib, Yorkshire pudding or popovers, roasted root vegetables, and more! The dinner, which costs $65 total, is perfect for two, so bring the whole family!

Sepia {123 North Jefferson Street, Chicago; 312.441.1920}

If you’re looking for an upscale evening for your family, Sepia is the perfect choice for a high end but welcoming meal. On Easter Sunday, the Michelin-starred restaurant is offering a special five-course dinner. In addition to their seasonal menu items, diners can also look forward to a special pasta course in honor of the holiday. 

The Peninsula {108 East Superior Street, Chicago; 312.33.2888}

The Peninsula is the perfect spot for a classic (and classy) Easter meal. Celebrate the beginning of spring with The Lobby’s annual Easter feast, filled with daffodils and Easter bunnies. Wear your best pastel dress and enjoy bites from the live action station, breakfast options, salad selections, and more. There are only a few spots left so move quickly!

Le Sud Chicago {2301 West Roscoe Street, Chicago; 773.857.1985}

Located in Roscoe Village, this two-level Mediterranean French eatery is offering easy and delicious bites for a lowkey Easter Sunday. Menu items for their specialty dinner include Lamb Lollipops with mint chimichurri and Lamb Chops with Israeli couscous. It’s such a beautiful spot to celebrate!

Prime and Provisions {222 North LaSalle Drive, Chicago; 312.726.7777}

Known for their delicious food, this Sunday, Prime and Provision is serving up more than just steak. If you want to spend your Easter morning on the hunt for eggs, head to this swanky spot for dinner after the festivities. Make it an early dinner, then walk along the Riverfront and soak in all the spring weather!

Adalina {912 North State Street, Chicago; 312.820.9000}

If you want a meal other than the classic glazed ham for Easter Sunday, try Adalina. Visitors can choose between their classic menu items like handmade pastas & Wagyu Strip Steak while sipping on selections from their curated wine list. This Sunday only, each table will receive an Easter basket full of candy and festive treats and one lucky winner will even get a special golden egg surprise. 

Vasili’s Mediterranean {135 Water Street, Naperville; 630.328.0431}

Easter feasts don’t end on April 9! Those celebrating Orthodox Easter on Sunday, April 16 can experience a traditional Greek Easter experience at Vasili’s Mediterranean in the Western suburbs. Head to Naperville and choose from traditional Mediterranean dishes paired with colorful cocktails. You’ll feel like you’re on a Grecian vacation in no time!

Sweetwater, the bustling bar and restaurant located at the MichiganAvenue Plaza, will be open for brunch on Easter Sunday. This downtown spot has all the views and ALL the eats. So grab your friends and family and enjoy classic brunch preparations like Lemon Blueberry Pancakes, Steak and Eggs, plus more.
