Thanksgiving is a time to count our blessings, and even though this year has been trying in all kinds of ways, it’s still important to make time to be grateful for all that we do have. Whether you are dining alone this year, or gathering with those in your household, you all deserve a great meal. And since this year will likely be more low key than past ones for many families, Chicago restaurants are here to offer up some more casual meal options that will still delight. Fill your table with love, good food, and thanks…

The Goddess and Grocer {multiple locations}: No matter your family size, Goddess has a menu for you! From Turkey for Two (serves two) to Family Matters (serves six) and even All In The Family (serves 12), there are plenty of options to choose from. They also have a la carte food, wine, cocktail, and decorative offerings if you’re celebrating Thanksgiving solo this year. Meals for one or one dozen will all be easy and delicious!

Beatrix {multiple locations}: You’ll get a little bit of everything with the Beatrix Thanksgiving Package! It includes turkey breast with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce and rolls. You can also add Apple and Chestnut Soup, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Pumpkin Pecan Pie, and more! Plus, you’ll pick up your orders at Beatrix on Wednesday, November 25 (they’re closed on Thanksgiving Day) so you can even start feasting a day early if you want.

Osteria via Stato {620 North State Street, Chicago; 312.642.8450}: Why don’t we put an Italian spin on Thanksgiving this year? The Osteria via Stato menu includes classic Peacock Farms Roasted Amish Turkey, but then also exciting additions like House made Focaccia Sausage Stuffing, Apple Crostata, Pumpkin Ricotta Cheesecake (above), and more. They will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, so pick your orders up on Wednesday, November 25. Just make sure to place your order 72 hours before!

Green Street Smoked Meats {112 North Green Street, Chicago; 312.754.0431}: There is no place we’d trust more with a smoked turkey than Green Street Smoked Meats. These turkeys are pastured, sustainably raised from Ferndale Farms in Minnesota, and are brined and smoked for five plus hours. Pair them with some of Green Streets Smoked Meats’ traditional Thanksgiving sides to make your meal complete!

nana {752 West 33rd Street, Chicago; 312.929.2486}: If you have a more specific Thanksgiving palette, nana can help. All their dinners are individually portioned and customizable with choice of entrée, four seasonal sides and dessert. And there's no minimum to order! They’re a perfect option for smaller groups or those looking for healthier options.
