Le Sud Mediterranean Kitchen in Roscoe Village will celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day with a special wine tasting event. Guests will explore several different Beaujolais selections accompanied with hors d'oeuvres by Executive Chef Michael Woodhall. After the sampling, paid participants will receive three bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau to take home.

Beaujolais Nouveau Day, celebrated the third Thursday in November, highlights French wine released just weeks after the hand-picked grapes have been harvested. France celebrates the occasion with fireworks, music and festivals. Nouveau's whole-berry fermentation results in a young, easy drinking, cherry red wine best served chilled.
